HUDSON - Hudson Economic Development, Inc. established the need for new housing in Hudson and decided to put up a Governor’s House that would be affordable to young first time home owners and/or retirees on a limited income.

The new home was delivered the week of December 11. While the movers were sliding the house onto the foundation, one corner of the home slid into the basement, making the home unusable.

It was decided to set the home on the foundation until a replacement was made available to keep the basement from being exposed to the elements. On the week of January 2nd, the replacement home was brought in and in 4 hours, the damaged home was removed and the brand new one was set in place.

The house will be offered with or without an attached garage, a carpet/flooring allowance, and all of the amenities.
