Lori was born January 29, 1959 in Spencer, IA, to parents Adrian & MaryEtta Brose. She lived and attended school in Ruthven, IA, until moving to Vermillion, where she also attended school except for one year at Maplewood Academy in Hutchinson, MN. There she was baptized and became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

After graduation Lori lived a couple of years near Platte, working in town and at the Marina her folks owned on the Missouri River. She loved fishing, hunting and water skiing.

She was godmother to Cassie, daughter of Paul and Marilyn Kinsman of Pierre.

She then moved back to Alcester where she worked in Alcester and attended and graduated at the top of her class from Southeast Vocational Technical Institute in Sioux Falls as a Data Processor/Computer Programmer in June of 1990. After graduation she worked in Alcester, in Hawaii, back in Alcester, working for her brother, who owned the Alcester Union newspaper, then to Pierre with a publishing company until she became disabled with Fibromyalgia. She then moved to Globe, AZ, where she resided until her death.

Lori is survived by her mother, MaryEtta, and her step-father, Donald Hidde of Kerrville, TX, brothers Don (Janet) Brose of Alcester, William of Viborg, and Jeff (Lynn) of Irene, sisters Susan (Merle) Williams, and Terri (Keith Odell), of Globe, AZ; stepsisters Barb (Jerry) Minear of Pittsburg, TX, Karen Wymore of Milford, IA, Diane (Dwain) Schaffer of Milaca, MN, and Lynn (Bill) Davidson of Appleton, WI; stepbrothers Dean Hidde of Hortonville, WI, and Todd (Mindy) Hidde of Hilbert, WI; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends.

Preceding her in death was her father, grandparents and a nephew.

Final good-byes will be held in South Dakota later this summer.
