- Ross Armstrong
- Ross Charlie Armstrong, 84 years old, passed away on June 13, 2007, at his home in Camas, WA.
- Ross was born February 2, 1923, he and six sisters were raised in Hawarden, IA, to parents Nora (Anderson) Armstrong, and Charlie Ross Armstrong.
- Ross served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He served as a member of the 308th Field Artillery Battalion, attached to the 78th Infantry “Lightning Division”.
- He was drafted into service on March 21, 1943 at Camp Butner, NC, and received an Honorable Discharge on February 16, 1946, at Ft. Logan, CO.
- Ross is greatly missed by his wife, Audrey (Erichsen) Armstrong, their three children; Gary, Kathy and Ronald; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
- A graveside service was held at the Eden Cemetery in Hudson.
