Ross Armstrong
Ross Charlie Armstrong, 84 years old, passed away on June 13, 2007, at his home in Camas, WA.
Ross was born February 2, 1923, he and six sisters were raised in Hawarden, IA, to parents Nora (Anderson) Armstrong, and Charlie Ross Armstrong.
Ross served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He served as a member of the 308th Field Artillery Battalion, attached to the 78th Infantry “Lightning Division”.
He was drafted into service on March 21, 1943 at Camp Butner, NC, and received an Honorable Discharge on February 16, 1946, at Ft. Logan, CO.
Ross is greatly missed by his wife, Audrey (Erichsen) Armstrong, their three children; Gary, Kathy and Ronald; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the Eden Cemetery in Hudson.
