Ruby TroskeyRuby Troskey, 96, of Great Falls, MT, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Graveside services were held September 17 at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Alcester.Ruby was born July 1, 1911 in rural Union County near Nora, to parents Carl and Helma Oden. She attended Nora School and graduated from Elk Point High School. Upon completion of her teacher’s degree from Madison, SD, she taught in rural areas.Ruby married Edward Troskey. They had one daughter, Karlene.Among her survivors are her daughter; two sisters, Lovine Borghorst of Florida and JaNice Hanson of Elk Point; three grandsons; and one granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward; brother Clifford Oden; and sisters Alvesta Dahlum and Frances Allegree. |
