- Barbara Ann Malmberg
- Barbara Ann Malmberg, 70, died of cancer on December 1, 2007, in Mesa, AZ, surrounded by her family. Cremation took place in Mesa, with memorial services at Parkway UCC in Minneapolis on December 15 and at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cook, MN on December 19.
- Barbara was born and raised in Hudson, and united in marriage to Wayne Malmberg.
- Barbara graduated from South Dakota State University and taught in South Dakota, California, Minneapolis and Giessen, Germany, where she met her husband.
- She was an avid outdoors person and being a mom, sewing, quilting, volunteering and an active church life at Parkway UCC in Minneapolis, and currently at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cook, MN, were all hallmarks of her wonderful life.
- She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Marshall, and survived by her mother, Palma Marshall of Hudson, sister Jayne Marshall of Mesa, AZ, brother Charles (Diane) Marshall of Phelan, CA; husband Wayne of 44 years of marriage; three children, John Malmberg of Tower, MN, Myra Malmberg of Crystal, MN, and Craig Malmberg of St. Paul, MN; three grandchildren, Charles Malmberg, Kristin Brintnell and Nicholas Malmberg; sisters and brothers-in-law Peggy and Marvin Clark, Vonnie and Wayne Shmitka, Judy Klatt; and many nieces and nephews.
- Memorials may be forwarded to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
