- Relay teams first at Chester

- The Alcester-Hudson boy’s 1600-meter relay team and two girl’s relay teams captured first place at the Chester Invitational track meet last Tuesday.
- The boy’s relay team got their first place finish in 3:45.03 as Todd Anderson, Matt Schempp, Kelly Haisch and Corey Haisch were the runners.
- The girl’s 3200-meter relay team of Jessica Wegh, Lexi Liston, Emily Schreur and Sarah Haisch finished first in 10:31.33. The Sprint Medley relay team of Beth Gustner, Lexi Liston, Jessica Wegh and Sarah Haisch was first in 4:44.15.
- In addition, the girl’s 1600-meter relay team placed second in 4:33.09 as Wegh, Liston, Schreur and Haisch were the runners.
The boy’s Sprint Medley relay team was fifth in 4:47.95 with Derek Schuller, Barry Wood, Adam Hughes and Ty Schoellerman doing the running.- The boy’s 3200-meter relay team was fifth in 10:50.27 with Berg, Schoellerman, Hughes and Wood the runners.
- The girl’s 800-meter relay team took sixth place in 2:08.72 as Gustner, Megan Wood, Alexis McConnell ran.
- In individual events, Megan Wood was second in the triple jump going 29’ 8” while Sarah Haisch was second in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of :50.43.
- Corey Haisch was third in the 400-meter dash in :54.35. Eric Beeler was third in the 800-meter run in 2:13.83 and was fourth in the 1600-meter run in 4:57.92.
- Todd Anderson was fifth in the 200-meter dash in :24.63. Katherine McDole was fourth in the shot put with a heave of 28’ 6”.
- Eric Anderson was sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 35’9-1/2”. Beth Gustner was sixth in the 100-meter dash in :14.07
